NFAA Director Art Reimer
Art noted that there were 750 archers at the Atlantic City Archery Classic and that the shoot went well. If any NJ club is interested in holding any of the Mid-Atlantic shoots please contact him before 6/10/02.
Weekly Award Claire Reimer
Claire noted that the following Clubs are delinquent with their payments for their shoot money and reports:
Garden State April 7, 2002
Garden State April 28, 2002
Cape May May 5, 2002
· Garden States owes the SFAA-NJ $23.50 for placement bars
OLD BUSINESS:
Art received a letter of interest for the position of SFAA Secretary.
Doug Joyce announced that he will not seek re-election to the position of V.P. Awards.
Mike LePera noted that the post cards mailed stating that the Clubs could pick up their awards at Wa-Xo-Be’s May 5, 2002 shoot was confusing and needed more thought.
Black Knight made a motion that the SFAA sponsor a target for $100.00 at the Black Knight’s “Big Foot” shoot, second Lincoln Park . The vote was 3 in favor and 3 opposed with 2 abstaining . Pres. Reimer broke the tie by voting against the motion. Art noted that he voted against the motion because if the SFAA donates to one Club they must donate to all the Clubs thus becoming a strain on the treasury.

President Reimer asked the Clubs what type of round they want to shoot at the Mid Atlantic sectionals in 2003. The Clubs suggested either the Vegas 300 round or Vegas 450 round at the Indoor Mids. Art noted that he will vote for 28 Field and 28 Hunter and 14 Animals for the Outdoor Mids .
Selection of the host Clubs for the SFAA Championship shoots for 2003 will be made at the July meeting prior to the scheduling.
Lincoln Park noted that we should send an introductory letter to McGarrity sports writer for the Star Ledger with our shoot schedule and ask to have our shoots published in his weekly column.
GOOD N WELFARE:
Pres. Reimer extended our sincere sympathy to Pierre Berthelon on the passing of his wife.
There being no further business, a motion was made Green Mt. to adjourn the meeting at 9:18 pm, second by Wa-Xo-Be and carried.
Respectfully submitted
